Medcen Hospital has a full complement of resident doctors, consultants, nurses, midwifes and visiting specialists supported by well equipped laboratory, xray and ultrasound facilities. It also has a fully equipped emergency room, operating theatre, delivery room and a modern state of the art dental clinic staffed by a full time dentist and a dental assistant.

Doctors

Medcen Hospital has 4 fulltime doctors plus Visiting Specialists and on call junior staff. To make an appointment to see any of our doctors email to medcen@ipasifika.net.

Clinics

Medcen Hospital operates daily general and specialist clinics from 9am – 5pm and after hours from 6pm – 9pm. Weekend and Public Holidays clinics are from 9am – 12pm, then 6pm – 9pm.

Nurses

Medcen Hospital employs 10 fulltime highly experienced nurses including midwives and OT nurses.

Laboratory

Medcen has a modern fully automated laboratory that performs a comprehensive range of blood tests. Tests not available locally are sent to NZ with a turn around time of 4 days.

Emergency Rooms

Medcen has a 24 hour emergency room that can deal with any kind of emergency and has a doctor on call round the clock.

Operating Rooms

Medcen has 2 fully equipped Operating Rooms that can perform all types of minor and major surgery.

Dental Clinic

Medcen has modern and fully equipped state of the art dental clinic operated by our very experienced Dentist and Dental Therapist.

Operating Room

Medcen has 2 fully equipped Operating Rooms that can perform all types of minor and major surgery.

Delivery Rooms

We have a modern, well equipped and comfortable delivery room manned by an experienced Obstetrician and midwives.

Hotel Area

We have 21 comfortable air conditioned rooms with ensuite, fridge, TV and a nurse call system.
